• Japanese market prices: actual vehicle prices at the time of purchase from our Japanese market suppliers may differ from any estimate provided at the enquiry stage, as Japanese domestic used vehicle market prices fluctuate daily.
• Currency exchange rates: vehicles sourced from Japan are priced in Japanese Yen (JPY). The EUR/JPY exchange rate prevailing on the date of purchase applies. Subsequent fluctuations are for the Client's account.
• Shipping and freight: sea freight rates, port handling charges, and marine insurance premiums are subject to market changes.
• Cyprus customs duties and VAT: import duty is assessed on the customs value (vehicle price + freight + insurance) at the applicable tariff rate. VAT is assessed at the prevailing Cyprus rate (currently 19%). These are government levies not within our control.
• Road tax and registration: fees prescribed by the Department of Road Transport are subject to change by government order.
• SVA inspection costs: Single Vehicle Approval fees may vary based on vehicle specifications and any technical requirements at the time of import.

Listed prices in our inventory represent vehicles already purchased and costed at a specific point in time. Market values may have changed. Prestyn Motors accepts no liability for any difference between an indicative estimate and the final cost presented to you.

Import duties, customs VAT, and Single Vehicle Approval (SVA) requirements applicable to vehicles imported into Cyprus are determined solely by the Republic of Cyprus Customs & Excise Department and the Department of Road Transport. These are subject to change by government decision or EU legislative act at any time without notice.

Prestyn Motors makes every effort to provide accurate and current guidance on import costs and procedures. However, we cannot guarantee that such information remains accurate at the time you rely on it. We expressly disclaim liability for:

• Any change in import duty rates or customs valuation methodology occurring after the date your order is confirmed.
• Any change in SVA technical requirements, road safety standards, or emissions thresholds imposed by Cypriot or EU authorities.
• Any additional levies, surcharges, or inspection fees introduced by government after the cost breakdown was provided to you.

All vehicles are sourced from licensed dealers and registered exporters operating within the Japanese domestic used vehicle market. Vehicle condition information — including condition reports, photographs, and specifications — is prepared by our Japanese market suppliers and is relayed to you exactly as supplied, without modification by Prestyn Motors.

Prestyn Motors relies on condition information provided by our Japanese suppliers in good faith. We are not in a position to independently inspect every vehicle in Japan prior to sharing the condition report with you. Accordingly, Prestyn Motors accepts no liability for any defect, damage, or condition not apparent from the condition report provided, where that report was relayed in its original unaltered form. Photographs provided are taken by our Japanese market supplier at the time of the condition assessment; condition may change between assessment and export.

Estimated delivery timelines are provided in good faith based on typical Japan-to-Cyprus shipping schedules (generally 8–14 weeks from purchase). Actual delivery may be delayed by factors beyond our control, including:

• Port congestion, vessel scheduling changes, or shipping line capacity issues.
• Adverse weather conditions or force majeure events at sea.
• Delays at Cyprus Customs & Excise or the Department of Road Transport in processing SVA, MOT, or registration.
• Public holidays, industrial action, or other disruptions at origin or destination ports.

Prestyn Motors shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from delays in delivery that are outside our reasonable control. We will keep you informed at every stage and make every reasonable effort to minimise delays.
